Moin Wehrwolf,
I have to disagree…
11:10
And now think of some typical types of houses….
- Fachwerk was very common (easy to penetrate i guess)
- Solid ground floor, wooden upper floor (easy to penetrate i guess)
- burned full bricks (propably very hard to penetrate)
- Any other type of natural stones (propably very hard to penetrate)
Grenades, yes, in most cases, but I think they will damage Fachwerk and wooden Buildings.
LorariusKeymasterHey Death_Kitty,
no problem and thanks for letting us know. Take your time to get things sorted out and let me wish you best of luck with the things you are up to.
Thanks for your help so far and good to know that it will just be a temporaly slow down on Wikinger for you.
In the mean time, if you find some time for beta testing – very good. If you pop in for some fun games – would be awesome also.
So, hopefully cya soon mate!LorariusKeymasterGreat guide – again! Thanks for your help and keep up the good work mate.

welcome and good to hear you like the mod.
I’m not sure if we understand your problem(s) right, but could it be that you do not have our win condition pack?
Have a look in here: Wikinger Installation GuideIf this solves your problem please let us know. If it doesn’t, then please provide some screenshots.
I hope you’re having sucess.
Best regards,
Lorarius24/07/2017 at 8:01 am in reply to: The new camouflage bushes effect for tanks – Community ideas #3293LorariusKeymasterAt first I would like to see some improvements to the camo-ability
- hold fire button (the coolest button would be: hold fire until other orders or until you are spotted)
- driving without manual decamo (let the camo be made and the moment you move you destroy it)
Some possible bonuses:
- higher accuracy (only when the tank is standing in camo for a minute or so – the gunner had time to make a map with destinctive area profiles, lanmarks and calculated the distances)
- higher potential to shock enemy’s tank-crews (the crews are kinda scared cause they didn’t expect to be shot from the camoflaged vehicle)
- with veterancy comes another camo bonus: the second shot camo mode. If the first shot was fired from camo and out of the enemy’s normal range of view the tank/at gun will still remain in camo and it’s position will not be revealed on the minimap or the battleground
Infrared Views:
The infrared detection should still be able to detect camoflaged vehicles, cause hiding the engine’s or barrel’s heat is nothing that a couple of bushes can do very well – maybe the detection range could be decreased for camoflaged vehicles.
LorariusKeymasterHi Morgoth,
happy you are here – enjoy the community.
And if you see something you could contribute, it would be very much appreciated.LorariusKeymasterHi… I am not 100% sure, but if you zoom in manually it should work also. Maybe try that.
Whatever you try, it would be very nice to have some feedback as other players might have similar problems.
LorariusKeymasterDeath_Kitty, I am glad you are back and also very thanksfull for your kind words.
And thanks for this post also, it shows some characteristic size (not sure if there is a term like that in English, in German it just means you are not a “hide-away-person”).
Thanks Sean for sharpening Kitty’s claws 😆

LorariusKeymasterHelios… does that mean you are working on a map? Great thing!
That also means you finished your exams?! Congratulations!
LorariusKeymasterwell, snipers are countered with snipers….
also, with the updates (only shooting when static), they are less likely to move, so rushing there would be an option. The snipers are extremely vulnerable if they are not protected themselves. Flanking them is also an option, but u need to “read” the landscape for that to find his blind spots.
And yes, snipers are a pain in the ass, but each faction has at least one, so your own sniper can be the same pain in the ass for your opponent.
LorariusKeymasternice find, thank you!
LorariusKeymasterWe got a blogpost out for it now…
LorariusKeymasterThat’s kind of a cheat, if you press it you get a big refill on your ressources. It’s present only in the internal pre-beta versions. It just speeds up things, that way you don’t have to wait 10 mins to save for a Kind Tiger or the Kampfgruppe Hansen.
It will not be in the public beta nor the public final versions of the mod.LorariusKeymastergo to C:\Users\*your user*\Documents\My Games\Company of Heroes 2\mods\gamemode
There should be just a folder named “subscriptions”, nothing more…. if there are any sga-files, they are probably copied there for alpha testing or by mistake, in any way, they were copied to there manually and for wikinger you don’t need any of the files there
If you go into subscriptions there could be 2 different files:
- 536957797.sga – public Wikinger WCP from steam workshop, this is dated somewhen end of april 2017
- 802821254.sga – Wikinger Beta WCP
Number 1 is necessary to play Wikinger, number 2 only if you are attending the beta tesing program (which I know you do). If you have any other files in there, they could be from other mods or whatever, any of those files are not necessary for wikinger.
So, if you have deleted all of the non-wikinger related files, you should be able to see the different Wikinger gamemodes (annihilation, annihilation high zoom, VP, VP HZ,..) just one time (for beta testers: two times, just with an “B” in the gamemade to mark it as BETA)
