Hahaha, oh wow. Wonder if you could do that again even if you tried.

Google Kommandoverband “Jaguar” for historical references.

I believe this will be  x2 T34-85 beutepanzers with Germans dressed as Soviets with silenced mp40’s and AT nades.

I assume you mean all tanks for all factions?

Keep in mind there are only a select few vehicles that have this animation.

However, I suppose it’s possible to add some sandbag objects while immoble, like we did with camouflage. It wouldn’t have the same animation though…

I’m curious as to what the defense bonus is with the hull down…guess I’ll have to look in the mod files to find out.

    Interesting.  Haha.

    I’ve never seen that before and I don’t think that’s intended. 🙂

Will definitely take a look at SWS to see if we can make it un-capturable.

    Thanks for the report.

Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean by “German 60 mm mortar”?  Is this an ability or unit for either Wehrmacht or SS?

I can only find the GRW34 81mm mortar team and GRW42 120mm mortar team.

Your objections and opinions are welcome here, but I take offense to your remark that “balance is a joke“.  Seriously?

I believe the AI was tweaked about 6-9 months ago to give players a real challenge against the AI.  Since that “tweak”, Olhausen and Mongalong have been trying to reel the difficulty in bit by bit. Most notably, the difference in Airplane attacks from earlier versions of the mod is much easier to deal with now.  AI arty is currently being addressed and you should see some reduction in it’s frequency in the near future.

If your play style against AI is to sit back, build up defenses, and have the AI come at you with wave after wave, then this mod may not be for you.  Also, in my experience a lot of how the AI behaves is very dependent on the map you play.

In response to your balance discussion, if 2-3 Sherman 76’s shouldn’t be able to tackle a Panther or Tiger, how many would you suggest then?

I’m sure the other devs will be able to address your balance questions/issues with greater detail than I.

It’s possible this mod is not compatible with saving and reloading where you left off.  From your screenshots it looks like you have all the necessary files though.

Are you having any issues other than save and reload?

    No problem.

Olhausen may have bigger things to worry about, but I can (try to) take care of the small stuff like these bugs.  Keep them coming. 🙂

    Thanks again.

    Fixed.

AB PIR foxhole now has no directional facing indicator along with zero manpower cost.  Hitpoints reduced from 500 to 350.

AB engineer foxhole now has directional facing indicator.  Cost and 50 cal upgrade remain unchanged.

Thanks for the report Vinny. 🙂

in reply to: How common was the BAR in US rifleman squads? #3737

Basic rifle squad had 11-12 men. I believe there were typically two members that carried the BAR. The rest had M1 Garands. Ncos or officers sometimes chose Thompson or carbine.

Squads would split into two teams with one BAR each for supporting each other or leapfrogging to position.

Meat will correct me if I’m wrong.

@Death_Kitty:  I think The M4 75 mm might be the only one for the US that got the camo ability before the patch was released.  You can count on seeing the others for the next release.  I should have all medium and heavy armor for the Brits and Soviets done soon as well!
