      Greetings!

      I already had a talk with Olhausen the other day, but despite this i’ll briefly post it here too regarding my experience with the mod on certain aspects. Sorry for the long post in advance.

      Of course, many things i detail here might not be of paramount importance at the moment, but still every small detail can count in my opinion.

      Portraits :

      Now, i know the reason for the incomplete SS units’ portraits, but nevertheless here are some of the points i’ve gathered so far:

      • Missing of SS runes from all SS units.
      • Assault Panzer Grenadiers (Wunderwaffe) : I’d assume they are also SS-units, but neither their displayed name nor their portraits (collar patches  etc. ) indicate that they are indeed SS.

      Fun fact: The missing SS runes are actually present when i hover over the description of the SS-Jägerrote in the tech trees (doctrines).

      Light-Armored Vehicles :

      I feel these units in general could enjoy a very slight boost to survivability (one example being the Sd. Kfz 222). As i have noticed, it took 1.5 or so seconds to be destroyed by an american gun emplacement near the base. AT weapons such as Bazookas or any medium/heavy tanks  should take care of these with ease, but i’ve noticed several times some of these units exploding before doing anything serious with them. Realism is okay, but these moments were quite obnoxious. Of course, it might have been my fault. What you think?

      Units getting pinned down :

      It happened that certain elite units (like the Jägerrote just to name 1 example) got pinned down literally seconds after entering combat from afar with  an ordinary machine gun team in the early stage of the battle resulting in me ordering a retreat. Could be me doing something wrong? or is it intended? Aren’t these units supposed to endure for longer?

      SS Panzer Grenadiers (SS-Artillery) :

      A very powerful unit indeed as it should be. Still, considering the wehrmacht Panzergrenadiers (Panzer Grenadier Division) also have panzershrecks as well as Panzerfaust 100 (from Vet. 1), i was thinking the SS Panzer Grenadiers could also be slightly boosted such as with the Panzerfausts or in any other way as they are a rare call in. What’s your view?

      Pervitin Tablets :

      Allows the units to fight more fanatically. I may have missed it, but i’m unsure how exactly its supposed to modify the units’ stats.
      I’d assume it ought to increase the time it takes for units to get pinned down, as well as possibly increasing damage output/defensive capabilities? (I remember my units were pinned down easily even during the effect of the tablets).
      This is otherwise a cool ability, have u ever considered giving this to SS units in e.g the Artillery doctrine aswell?

      Hungarian Units :

      Is it a possibility we’ll see certain hungarian units/tanks (as part of the Honvédség/Hungarian Army) in any of the wehrmacht doctrines such as 43M Zrínyi, 39M Csaba, 38M Toldi or 40M Nimród? Considering its possible with the CoH2 tools ofc.

      Nimród could be a good SPAAG option in one of the doctrines for example.

      Zrínyi  could be both infantry support as well as an anti tank option as it fought valiantly in many theaters of the Eastern Front such as in the Battle of Turda.

      They could be an alternative, buildable option besides other german ones (or be standalone), or they could also work in the form of call ins featuring 1-2 of these tanks and possibly accompanied by 42M Toldi tank(s) as well as hungarian units.

      We did an edit of all ss troop portraits awhile ago. Tried to remove all evidence of ss runes or deaths head.

      If I missed some, i will try to fix them.

      Hop in discord. It will help communication of these errors much easier.  Thanks for the reports.
