      a quick request to make the M20 utility car binocular ability toggleable instead of costing 30 munition and rooting the vehicle in place. It makes the spotting feature bleeding useless.

      I think it need a buff on the machine gun,too.

      @ Death Kitty In the last patch, I increased a lot the line of sight of the recon ability for those vehicles. Now the range is massive. A toggle ability could be a bit too much ? What about increase the time of the ability instead ?

      @ Mor Juliet: What kind of buff you suggest ? Damage, suppression, both ?

        @Olhausen: That is beside the point. the fact is that when you spend the munitions to use binoculars, it locks the vehicle in place, making it unable to move or rotate if you don’t find anything. The fact that snipers can rotate and reposition quickly and for free while suppressing infantry and killing weapon crew is simply unbalanced. Either give US equal recon abilities to waffen or remove snipers, and since snipers are here to stay…

        US need and equal level of recon to the waffen, as they arguably need it more.

        a suppression buff on the mg would also be in order.

        what could a be a good idea is the put the detection on cooldown: ie it detect units by it, but you can activate a free ability on a cool-down to extend the detection range if you think you have found a sniper.

      I think detection range is pretty small, like scout vehicles are supposed to be used against snipers (especially in this meta), but the detection radius is pretty small.

      I agree on the sight. It’s pretty massive, but the detection is not.
      I tested it on the t70 few games ago and I could not spot snipers not so far away (probably ~gun range).
      Snipers are fighting on really long distances and currently it might be REALLY hard to get close to them and spot them, so I guess it needs detection range buff first and foremost.

      But like I said, it might be just t70, I’ll try to test it for M20 too today (but the easiest way would be just checking the stats of the detection range) 😉

      First, I did some test and found that M20 command vehicle(not sure about the vanilla one) has a bug : It can’t fire when it is moving.

      The suppression rate is too low. Even an infantry squad with one LMG get better suppression rate than the HMG which is carried by M20.
