Combined Operations with it´s reccent changes improved alot in its capability as a whole but this took a toll on their Main CP-Line the Commandos themselves. I did some thinking and came up with a few ideas to fix this and make them more apealing to get outside of the Specialist Troops (French AT Team, Norwegian Sniper)

      1. Pack specific Grenades.

The Mils is regarded by many as the worst Grenade so I thought why not fix this issue for the expensive Elites and give more appeal to the Weapon Packs.

American Pack: replace the Mils for the Pineapple so a throw will cause more damage

German Pack: replace the Mils with a Stickgrenade to improve their throwing range over the Mils

      2. Bash on Regardless!

The Ability is good but still requires more conditions as other Supression Break abilities. The name of the Unlock implies it is additional training for the Commandos, so I thought maybe it should act similar to Luftwaffes unlock for their elite units aka give an experience Boost. The Unlock would boost Commando experience so they will be Veterancy 1 and Commandos produced in the future will enter the Battlefield with Veterancy 1 too, making it more Tame than Lufts experience boost while still making the commandos more usefull.

      3. Weapon Pack Variants

Commandos mention in their Description they are very good at long Range, yet they lose this skill with their Weapon Packs, so I thought maybe make it so that with the US Unlock they would get acess to either their Assault Pack (Tommy Guns and BARs) or to M1 Garands for the entire Squad, so they can remain at long and medium range but also still retain solid Assault Options. (CoC as a whole in my opinion lacks Long – Medium Range Infantry, as Marquis too need to close the Gap to make their Shotgun effective)

      4. The Heavily Armored Flame Spewing Prime Minister from Hell

The Croc is a good Tank no one can deny it yet it suffers against Panthers and Tiger aswell as 75mm APCR Shots. The Croc severly lacks the options all other Churchill variants in the mod have. It would be a good Buff to its survivability to be able to have Engine Smoke or Smoke Projectors to have the chance to very slowly escape from AT Ambushes.

It would also be great for it to receive APCBC Shells so it can fight back against heavy tanks while closing the Gap to them. (Especially now that its turret reacts to Attack orders!)

I think that the Grenade changes would be a nice a feature, as the mills isn’t quite as good as either one, and is well outperformed by both.

Bash on Regardless is a very strong ability, there is no doubt about it. It removes suppression, increases reload speed to name a few things. It just seems like a more unit specific version of the Luftwaffe Attack ability, where they increase cap speed, reload speed, and movement speed. It would also make sense to give them the veterancy level, as they are highly trained commandos by this point of the war. So adding veterancy to them doesn’t seem like an all too bad idea, especially for what is a unit-capped mainline infantry unit in a sense.

They do sort of lose their effectiveness as the distance between them and their targets extends. I wouldn’t be opposed to swapping out a rifle or two for some Garands.

As for the Fire-spewing-prime-minister-from-hell; Perhaps it could get some APCBC, because atm, the tank can try to close the gap on a Panther, or Tiger 1 with APCR, and will take significant damage before reaching it. Then the only thing the tank can rely on is the flamethrower. Although, most likely not designed as a tank to combat other tanks, it doesn’t hurt to give it the ability to defend itself.
