      READ ME FIRST:
      The team moves here to another forum and we have a team member change during this patch, that why the changelog is not fully detailed. I will add more notes in beta patches for beta testers.

      New Doctrine Name:
      SS Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment
        “Verbrannte Erde”

      Overview:
      Scorched Earth was a military tactic employed when retreating to delay your advancing enemy and deny him any resources they may need to keep their army moving. We do have a bit of this in the current doctrine but it is really a mish-mash of artillery and infantry with no real obvious focus.
      Our idea is to make it more focused on the Panzer Artillerie Regiment while still including other support elements like the Panzer Pionere Kompanie using heavy engineers for delaying tactics, like booby traps and mines. Snipers will also feature heavily in this doctrine. Then once the enemy is stretched and disoriented you will be able to call in support from SS Kampfgruppe Hansen to counter attack and rout your enemy!
      These were all historical tactics of the numerically inferior German forces who relied heavily on superior mobility and command and control to even the score. Also any way possible that they could delay the enemy and deny him resources was employed.

      Highlights:

       

      . Removed artillery command Squad
      . Added a new unit SS Panzer Pioniere, it will replace the normal SturmPioniere unit.
      Pioniere had a huge variety of tasks and capabilities. Clearing mines, laying mines, clearing obstacles, building obstacles, supporting assault parties with explosives, flame throwers etc…
      They were the specialists for such tasks and were attached to assault units when needed. The course of war and high casualties often made it necessary that they were also used in a normal infantry role. That was not intended and not the best way to use a Pionier unit but necessary in some situations. Panzer Pionere were required to perform the same role, just for Panzer and Panzergrenadier Divisions.

       

       

      . Moved Walking Stuka to Defensive doctrine
      . Moved Panzerwerfer 42 to Scorched Earth doctrine.
      . Sdkfz 223 Fu Recon will be no more a common unit and will be an unique unit for Scorched Earth doctrine.
      . Hetzer Flammepanzer will remain as a doctrine bound unit without unlock.
      . Added Grille Shot
      . Added 2 more extra snipers for doctrine
      . SS Kampfgruppe Hansen Command Squad Call in.
      . Added SD-2 Butterfly Bombs

       

      . Added new Booby Traps on weapons. Here’s a cartoon produced by the American War Department to warn G.I’s of the dangers of booby traps:

      General:

       

      Artillery rework:

       

      We are starting the difficult journey to rework all artillery values in game. Now all values in game will have an historical relationship. Values reworked:
      • Scatter Areas will be reworked taking in consideration range & caliber.
      • Reload times now are realistic based on historical values. Only a few of them were changed to preserve the game-play. Example B4 203mm & Katyusha Soviets had a massive reload time and we reduce them.
      • Damage & cost: all damage & cost was calibrated taking in consideration realistic warheads in Kg.
      • Ranges: All ranges were reworked. We can not have realistic ranges with in game artillery units because the maps dont support realistic distance but we will maintain an historical relationship.

      New anti-tank infantry weapons FX

       

      The new collision will add much more fx giving us a better game experience.

      New rocket FX

      To provide more realism, we changed the FX of heavy caliber rockets, giving them more blast area and much more animated details.
      Rockets reworked:

      • Nebelwerfer 150 &210 mm
      • Calliope 114 mm
      • Katyusha 132 mm

      Mortar rework:

      . Rework ranges. Now all mortar have a range maintaining an historical proportion.
      . All mortars will have three basic options:

      • Saturation barrage: Weapon will use max RPM (historical one) at the cost of accuracy
      • Precision barrage: Weapon will use low RPM but very accurate
      • Smoke barrage: Weapon will use mid RPM with reasonable accuracy

      Win Condition Pack:

       

      Commanders & Intel bulletins:
      Removed all Commanders & Intel bulletins using scar in our scrip. Then in the next version if you pick a commander or bulletins they will not enable in game and they will not show up when the game start. The final result looks better and avoid any future commander & bulletins introduced by relic.
