So with all respect if been seeing that barelly anyone uses the Waffen SS from the Wunderwaffe doctrine due to their price of 600 MP while they get in my opinion way to quickly, compared to Regular hostile infantry and their cost do not weigh out the performance
i think it be better to reduce the price to 450 to make them more Viable compared to Regular Assault Grenadiers (who also have the STG upgrade,)
Please Let me know what u think

In the majority of the games I’ve played I used the Wunderwaffen doctrine and in my opinion the price of the SS Jägers is justified. They do a hell of a lot damage at range due to their infrared optics. They gain experience really fast if you use them correctly and give them something to fight against and after they reached the maximum theres pretty much nothing which could compete with them on a infantry level. As if this wasn’t enough this squad can use the Panzerfaust 150 after it’s unlocked which is a good reason to think twice as a allied player to engage with a unsupported tank.
If you use them right this guys will fight like hell and can be a pain in the ass for your opponent.
I think that the price is ok as it is.

yes they do Alot of Damage, But to be 100% honest i seen them get wiped Easily Behind Heavy cover by 2 Guard squads EASY, same as against shock troops what is pretty much their counter part, and they do not cost 600 Manpower, i still think lowering them to 450 make them more Viable for WunderWaffe players, due to paying 600 add 600 to that and u got a king tiger they cost more than a PZ IV what can do the same amounth of damage,

Hi Sean! Welcome to the forum 🙂
In regards to their pricing vs vehicles – our next patch following this 3.1.5 will be totally overhauling vehicle pricing, this should bring some of the values more into line with where they should be.
I’ve been on both the dealing and receiving end of the SS Jager squad and I have found them to be deadly and a worthwhile investment, that being said there are still many squads and doctrines that haven’t been reworked or adjusted so it’s a little hard to make arbitrary balance adjustments when the work isn’t complete.
Make sense?

I’m actually unsure if you talk about them in a “close combat” situation. If so, they are Jäger which means that they are light infantry. You can’t compare them with assault grenadiers in that specific case, because they are heavy infantry. Sure… light infantry was and is trained to fight against infantry but (if I’m right) on “distance”. They are trained to fight at difficult terrain or behind enemy lines, so they need to have a certain distance between them and their foes. And as I think this “order” is represented in a good way Wikinger an dhow you should use them. Not at the frontline but in the second line, as a damage dealer supported and guarded by other troops. Certainly you can use them as some sort of infiltration unit but in this case you have to be really careful and need to preserve the distance.
The point with the costs… I don’t know… for me it feels fine, maybe it’s a thing that will chage with the development of Wikinger. For a Pz IV you have also the fuel to pay which is harder to get than manpower and to say “600 add 600 to that and u got a king tiger” is a bit unlikely…. I mean 600 manpower is a lot.
In brief: It would be a bit strange if they would win against shock troops or guards (pretty sure those are heavy infantry) in a “close combat” situation. And I’m also pretty sure that those units have no chance to stay against a Jäger Squad on a ranged fight, if so that would be defenetly something to work on.
I hope that clarified what I meant in my first post. 😀

yeah i get what ur saying, yeah i agree on that but yes on distance Shock troops still win, and that needs to be worked on, i agree i still think they should be reduced in price due to their nature of “light infantry”, Gebrigjagers What are also light infantry, and some of the elite from the fallschirmjager Battalions, with G43’s Do about the same amouth of damage but lower in price, Maybe reducing it just to 500 MP would make it just perfect,
