ParticipantA veteran soldier can recognize a object is a enemy or bush easily. Like in much FPS games (pubg, red orchestra, warthunder, etc…), newbies always get killed before they see the enemy.
My idea is veteran unit can detect hidden enemy farther. Each vet gives the unit +X meters detection range, and scout units have additional bonus.

ParticipantI think it should be kept only to scout units, otherwise it would negate the whole idea of sneaking infiltration units behind enemy lines.
I think having special recon infantry would help, instead of a LV 😉

ParticipantAs I already mentioned, normal units increase detection range slightly(maybe +5 meters per vet), while scout units are having additional bonus(+20 meters per vet).

ParticipantGetting vet in this mod is super easy. +5 detection per vet would be massive, trust me. +2 per vet would be Okaish, but still should not be happening in my opinion unless a unit is specific recon type.
Then +5 per vet might be a good idea. -

ParticipantGetting vet in this mod is super easy : It is another balance problem.
I just intended to give an example, and +2 or +5 are both fine. All I want to implement is that veteran soldiers should recognize enemy easier than newbies.

KeymasterIts a good idea, not sure how easy it is to implement but we will certainly discuss this internally. If agreed we will add it when we can.
