Hi Wikingers: the new version is now live on Steam. This new version includes the Iron Will doctrine.
3.1.7 Tuning Pack
Soviet:
- Increased the damage of RPG-6 grenade about 20 %. I increased the damage to have some game logic. With the buff this grenade will have a similar value to the panzerfaust warhead.
- Added RPG-6 AT gren assault to the Shock Troops. They will get it after Veterancy 4.
- Fixed Razvedchiky incendiary barrage. Before it was bugged but now works correctly when the squad go into binoculars ability.
Wehrmacht:
- Removed UI timer from M24 grenades.
- Increased the scatter area for Leig 18 auto fire to reduce more the accuracy
- Reduced damage for Leig 18 auto fire for balance reasons
- Reworked AP/HE/APCR switch for Tiger tanks. Now works in the proper way with the correct penetration values and reload times
- Fixed Pak 43 & 40 naked emplacements armor values under construction. Now those weapons will not get armor values until the end of the construction. In this way it is more easy to destroy the weapon when Pioneers are building it.
- Added visual improvement for Puma recon ability. Now, vehicle commander will go out of the hatch and use his binoculars during ability.
- Fixed dropped weapons for all Wehrmacht troops. Now when a squad drops a weapon, they can buy it again in HQ territory or supply trucks.
US Forces:
- Reworked HVAP/HE/AP switch for the following vehicles
a. Pershing
b. Pershing ACE
- Increased the scatter area for 75 mm pack howitzer auto fire to reduce more the accuracy.
- Reduced damage for 75 mm pack howitzer auto fire for balance reasons.
- Fixed animations for M1 Garand and M1 Carabine. Now they will work in the proper way

- Added Generalleutnant squad to Luftwaffe doctrine.
- Fixed SWS dispatch system. Now the first SWS will come after 20 seconds and the rest will arrive with a delay of 180 seconds after the set up of the previous one.
- Fixed animations for Kar 98 rifle grenades. Now animations will work in the correct way.
- Scorched Earth Beutepanzer call in. Now this ability has a random call in. You could get either a Sherman 76 or a Firefly
- Luftwaffe Panthers. Now this doctrine has a unique unlock for Panther chassis. This ability in the tech tree will allow the construction of the Panther D and the dispatch of the Hermann Goering Gruppe.
- Panzer IV Ausf F1 will be available only for Scorched Earth doctrine.
- Fixed dropped weapons for all SS troops. Now when a squad drops a weapon, they can buy it again in HQ territory or supply trucks.
British Commonwealth:
- Fixed the price of Bren Carrier RAF. We had a typo error with it. New cost: 135MP/15Fuel
- Increased the scatter area for 75 mm pack howitzer auto fire to reduce more the accuracy.
- Reduced damage for 75mm pack howitzer auto fire for balance reasons
- Added Churchill right & left hatch defenses. Now crew will shoot stens when enemy infantry is in range
- Nerf accuracy and burst for HMG Vickers Tripodic
- Buff the Sten MK VI (non silenced). Now have a better and more realistic rate of fire.
- Added Churchill Commander upgrade.
- Added Churchill Top gunner upgrade (still not fully functional, will be ready for the next hotfix)
- Fixed some problems with spawned entities around 25 pdr howitzer naked one.
General:
- I created a new formula for Special Rounds to respect the correct reload times. I experiment a lot with this feature over the last few patches and in this new version the special rounds will work much better to prevent the abuse and to respect the historical facts. In the current public version there is a problem with the vehicles with 3 kind of rounds like HE/APCR/AP. Tiger and Pershing have problems because, I make some mistakes. In version 3.1.7 these errors are now corrected.
- Changed the combat gear of all vehicle crews, Now the squad leader is armed with an smg and the rest of the crew with pistols.
- All airdrops in game will be not enabled anymore during blizzard conditions
- Removed criticals from all artillery vs Planes
- Rework vehicle recon system, now all recon vehicles will use binoculars magnification x6. Each vehicle will adjust cone angle, sight radius and detect camo units to apply the following values: Sight max 290 meters, cone angle 60 degrees, detect global camouflage 150 meters
- Fixed many texts in game.
- Fixed many sounds extension adjustments for troops with no speech codes.
- Corrected the hitpoints for all commands squad in game and their guards. Now they maintain the same relationship and is more balanced.
- Sniper Magnification/Movement Icon Adjusted: for all factions, for all magnifications
3.1.7 Win Condition Pack
New game mode: Conquest
In an exciting turn of events, both the classic VP and annihilation modes meet as a fiery head on engagement on the battlefields of Wikinger: European Theater of War.
Using the Conquest game mode in Wikinger will turn any map into a match of unparalleled aggression, you will need to stay at least one territory ahead of your opponent or you will bleed tickets, the more territories ahead (or behind) you are the faster the ticket drain will be.
500/750/1000 ticket modes currently implemented
