There is some discrepancy between the firing arcs of MG’s across the factions, now MG’s are not overhauled properly but it would be worth looking to bring their firing arcs in line with each other to start with.
From what I can find the numbers in red are more historical, while 360 degrees is possible for the Vickers and M2HB the gun crew would all have to rotate together so it wouldn’t be instant.
Tripod
HMG34 – 120° – 65-70
HMG42 – 120° – 65-70
Vickers – 120°- 360 possible
M2HB .50cal – 90° – 360 possible
Wheeled
DSHK 1938 – 90° – 70
Maxim 1910 – 90° – 70

I think an easy mistake to make is the difference between possible and practical. As an experiment, try laying prone on the floor and pretend to aim an invisible HMG of your choice. First, aim it straight ahead. Now, see how far you can rotate the HMG without feeling awkward. You will be surprised by how little you can traverse.
