Just read about this operation and it gave me some ideas.
Operation Greif – was a special operation commanded by Waffen-SS commando Otto Skorzeny during the Battle of the Bulge in World War II. The operation was the brainchild of Adolf Hitler, and its purpose was to capture one or more of the bridges over the Meuse river before they could be destroyed. German soldiers, wearing captured British and US Army uniforms and using captured Allied vehicles, were to cause confusion in the rear of the Allied lines. A lack of vehicles, uniforms, and equipment limited the operation and it never achieved its original aim of securing the Meuse bridges. Skorzeny’s postwar trial set a precedent clarifying article 4 of the Geneva Convention: as the German soldiers removed the Allied uniforms before engaging in combat, they were not to be considered franc-tireurs.

Here’s a “special” Panther disguised as an M10 Tank Destroyer.

Yeah it was certainly a bold plan that could have been more effective if they had longer to prepare.
How do you think this should be implemented into Wikinger?

Iron Will is still very much ‘work in progress’ but is more based around the Volunteer SS Divisions fighting in desperate defensive battles on the Eastern Front.
Here is an article that explains the doctrine name:

Regarding Grief commandos, there is still 4 Wehrmacht doctrines to do as well so it could quite possibly fit there.

Always happy to hear new ideas. We will be working on the Brits next once AEF and SS are complete.
Have you had a chance to try the beta yet?

The M10/Panther was An American Idea at first, Due to its Armor Compared with Anti Tank Capability,
The Chassis and engine of a panther With the Turret And Cannon of the M10 it was a big Idea fromt he allies at first than the germans started doing the same,

Sorry Sean, you’re way off there!
What you’re looking at is an “ersatz M10” – all Panther, no M10.
🙂
