ParticipantHi there,
Recently have been doing 2v2 with some friends. I play Iron Will, my ally defense doctrine. We’re against a team that tends to do soviet armor + artillery.
I’m finding early game we are very effective and get control of a lot of the map (60% ish). As the game progresses, they split specialize and knock us back. One player goes for T-34 spam, the other shock infantry and zis-6 batteries (in artillery mode). Slowly but surely we get pushed back and lose.
I already posted about the anti-tank side, but how do you recommend doing counter battery to the zis6? The Su-76 for Iron Will is decent (as is the leig) but not sure how to counter it. By mid game + they can call concentrated artillery anywhere, making it hard to hold a defensive line.

KeymasterI do think there is the problem…
making it hard to hold a defensive line.
If your opponent uses artillery, it is because they have a target, mostly this is the defensive line which would be very hard to overcome for them without artillery.
Try 2 things:
- get a second defensive line which you could use – you can play the “dig in and build heavy tanks” game, but don’t dig in static – try to move your defenses where possible,#.
- don’t dig in, don’t get static

Participant2nd option always works. Best defense is offense 😉
