ParticipantHi,
at first I want to appreciate the Mod, it is the reason why I switched from the Blitzkrieg Mod to CoH 2. Sadly I lost fun to play it because of technical problems. I started to play matches with the AI and after a while my computer has problems to perform it without lagging. I suppose that like in the Blitzkrieg Mod there are problems with the AI and the CPU performance of up-to-date computers. The task-manager reports that my CPU runs at 80 per cent of its max speed. It’s the same with matches in CoH2 without the Mod, steady 80 per cent. But without the mod I have no lagging at all. I choose graphics which enables an average Fps of 60, min 45 to max 120, using AMD Sync. I get the tip to choose Vanilla maps builded by Relic, but it doesn’t make any difference on larger maps.
Some data about my system:
I5 6600k with 4.4 GHz (overclocked)
MSI Rx 480 GX 8Gb
16Gb Ram DDR4
SSD 120Gb
Perhaps somebody of you have the same problems and have some tips or solutions? Did you find good settings or maps to play vs. AI? Let’s compare some notes about it.
ThreeCheers!

KeymasterHi Lordtyranus:
I will try to help you with your problem. Wikinger mod is like BK mod years ago. It will eat your hardware literally. But you could try to compensate a bit with a few tricks.
- Try to play vanilla maps. Those maps works better with low end pc.
- Try to not use High angle camera setting. Wikinger has low camera WCP. Try to use this one.
- Try to avoid 4v4 games with AI.
You could try to play a 2v2 in a vanilla map with a low camera WCP and see whats happens.
Lets me know if this improve your performance.
Regards, Olhausen
