17/09/2018 at 12:54 pm #7327Snake99 ParticipantI think it is right to remove the suppression caused by the bar because it makes the riflemen op and historically the bar was nothing but a cross between thommy and garand and I do not think it has so much firepower to suppress enemy infantry

18/09/2018 at 2:50 pm #7337123nick MemberI guess the bar doesn’t need suppression since you can get a m1919 for us riflemen which does suppress and is more of the equivalent to the squad mg34 the SS infantry have. I also wish bolt action rifle and garand didn’t have any suppression at all, even if it isn’t very much. Just feels like it’s wierd in my opinion.

18/09/2018 at 10:44 pm #7338MeatShieldNZ KeymasterWe could add a suppressive fire ability instead of auto suppression. The M1918A2 BAR was pretty average on paper and wasnt really a true lmg, it was heavy (9.5kg!) and only had a 20 round mag. It also had selective fire, both automatic but one “fast” (~600rpm) and slow (~350rpm). It did have a bipod so you could implement a prone only suppression ability that might balance it out?
